Have you ever considered having an extended routine for your eye area? Skincare is a personal experience and varies from person to person. Some people say that eye creams are unnecessary and as long as you use all other products you use on your face on your eye area too, then you’re good. For us, we enjoy lengthy skincare routines that allow us to take time to relax and recharge. Thus, we were psyched when we discovered that BY ECOM has products that can give us just that – a set of products that would take care of our eye area.
The BY ECOM Collagen Firming Ampoule comes with 77.96% hydrolyzed collagen extract, a combination of peptides and collagen, EGF, and hyaluronic acid to keep the skin supple and firm.
It is packaged in a bottle with an angled dropper.
This ampoule has a smooth and slightly viscous texture. It spreads easily and does not feel sticky or tacky. It takes some time be absorbed and leaves our skin feeling hydrated throughout the day.
The Collagen Firming Eye Patch is formulated with hyaluronic acid and collagen to keep the skin hydrated and plump.
A box comes with 10 sachets of eye patches that is good for one use. Each sachet contains two freeze-dried eye patches that are pre-soaked with ampoule.
This might be the coolest eye patches we’ve ever used! The eye patches are brittle to the touch so be careful when touching it. When you use too much pressure when holding it, it may break.
As soon as you apply the ampoule on the eye patch, the eye patch slowly melts. It leaves a viscous liquid that leaves a tacky residue. Make sure to the massage the melted eye patch on to the skin to fully absorb all the essence. This takes the longest among the three products to be absorbed so we prefer using these on nights we have extra time for a lengthy routine.
The Collagen Firming Eye Cream comes with 67.52% hydrolyzed collagen extract, a combination of peptides and collagen, hyaluronic acid, glutathione, and adenosine. Not only does this help hydrate and form the skin, but it also helps in brightening dark areas.
It comes in a squeeze tube with a thin tip that allows a small amount of product to be dispensed.
This has a light, creamy consistency that glides elegantly on the skin. Like the ampoule, it takes some time to be absorbed but does not leave any stickiness behind. We’re looking forward to see more longterm effects in terms of brightening as we use this more consistently in the next weeks.
The ampoule and the eye cream can be used individually but if you want to be extra and have a mini routine dedicated to your eye area, the three products can be used in the following order.
- Step 1: Apply the Collagen Firming Ampoule on the eye area and the rest of the face.
- Step 2: With dry hands, gently put the Collagen Firming Eye Patch on the under eye area. Apply some ampoule on the eye patch to slowly dissolve it.
- Step 3: Put a thin layer of Collagen Firming Eye Cream to seal in moisture.
