Ever tried skincare with fruit extracts? Frudia is a Korean skincare brand that offers a range of products derived from fruits to get your skin glowing and healthy. They have what they call the R vita W method, which is a low-temperature extraction processes to efficiently and effectively gather all the nutrients from the raw ingredients.
Stylekorean sent us a few products from Frudia’s Avocado Calming Line and the Blueberry Hydrating Honey Lip Balm to try and test out.
The Frudia Avocado Relief Essence Toner is a dense, milky toner that soothes and moisturizes dry and sensitive skin. It is formulated with 76% avocado extract, Jeju green complex, and madecassoside. It is packaged in a cute plastic bottle which holds 195ml of product.
It has a thick, dense texture which almost feels like lotion. The thickness of the cream makes it a bit difficult to dispense the product. We think it would be better if this product was packaged with a pump or even a squeeze tube. It has a strong fragrance that may be a bit overwhelming at first. Initially we thought we would not like this product because of the thickness and the scent, however, we like what this did to our skin! The night we used this, we had a few red patches. The morning after using this product, our skin looked less irritated and the redness was gone! Keep in mind that it has a strong fragrance though, so if you know that you react negatively to these types of products, better do a patch test!
The Frudia Avocado Relief Mask is a soothing and moisturizing mask that contains avocado extract. Like the essence, this mask contains 76% avocado extract, Jeju green complex, and madecassoside.
This is a nonfluorescent sheet mask that has a brownish shade. The sheet mask is soaked with much essence but it does not drip down making the experience more neat and tidy. The mask fits well to our face and does not move around. We initially thought that the scent was too strong but once we placed the mask on our face, the scent was manageable. Our skin feels refreshed and moisturized after use.
The Frudia Avocado Relief Cream is a soothing moisturizer that contains 62% avocado extract and Jeju green complex that soothe sensitive and irritated skin. It is packaged in a cute jar and comes with a scoop for hygienic purposes.
This has a rich, dense texture that glides onto the skin well. Although the consistency is on the thicker side, it does not feel heavy or suffocating when applied. When we first opened the cream, there was a strong fragrance so we thought that the scent might be too much when the cream is placed on our face. However, when we applied the cream to our face we were surprised to find ourselves liking the scent. The scent was more faint, probably because we only use a small amount of product per use. It takes some time to be absorbed but does not leave a sticky finish as long as you put just the right amount of cream. We love using this cream both in the morning and at night, especially when our skin is irritated because this really helps in diminishing the redness of our skin. We like how dewy and hydrated our skin looks after application too.
The Frudia Blueberry Hydrating Honey Lip Balm is moisturizing lip balm in a cute little jar. We were most excited to try this one! It has honey and blueberry extracts that keeps the lips hydrated and moisturized. It also contains vegan collagen that makes the skin look more plump.
It has a consistency similar to jams and has a sweet blueberry smell. We love how this smells! Although the jar is small, we believe this lip balm will last a long time. We only need a bit of product in every use. We have super dry lips so we enjoy using this lip balm at night and wake up to ultra-moisturized lips!
