Mary & May is a Korean clean beauty skincare brand that has safe ingredients. All their products contain EWG green grade ingredients, are allergen free and dermatologically tested. We received four products which are recommended for those with dull and dry skin.
True to Mary & May’s eco-friendly values, each product is packaged in a recyclable paper with soybean oil ink.
The Mary & May White Collagen Cleansing Foam is formulated with collagen (helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles), niacinamide (brightens the skin), and hyaluronic acid (moisturizes skin and makes skin look more plump). It is a brightening and anti-aging cleansing foam that is packaged in a 150ml squeeze tube container. It has a rich, creamy consistency that turns into a thick foam when water is added. It has a faint floral scent that lingers for a while so those who like their cleanser with no smell should take this into consideration – we personally like the scent. This cleanser is easy to wash off and cleans our face well. It makes our face look brighter and feel smoother after every use. It did not dry out our skin so much and did not give our skin a squeaky clean feeling but our skin felt a bit tighter and in need of a hydrating toner after using this one.
The Mary & May Vitamin B5 + Bifida Toner contains bifida (strengthens skin barrier, helps with skin regeneration and prevents skin damage) and vitamin B (moisturizes and soothes skin). It is a refreshing and moisturizing toner that is packaged in a 120ml brown bottle with a pump dispenser. The brown bottle protects the product from air and sunlight. This has a light, watery texture with a sweet scent. The bottle is a bit heavy than our usual toner because it is made of glass. The product is easy to dispense with the pump dispenser because of the light consistency. It does not feel sticky and glides into the skin well. Our skin feels hydrated and ready for the next step of our routine.
The Mary & May Idebenone + Blackberry Complex Serum is formulated with ingredients with antioxidant properties – idebenone and blackberry complex. It is an anti-aging serum packed in a 30ml glass bottle with dropper. It has a beautiful, glowing yellow color, from the unique color of the idebenone and has no detectable scent. The slightly viscous consistency of the serum is slightly cooling when first applied and does not leave a sticky feeling once fully absorbed. Like most serums with glowing yellow shades, this product made our skin feel hydrated and look glowy and radiant.
The Mary & May Idebenone+Blackberry Complex Intensive Cream contains idebenone and blackberry (antioxidant properties) and ceramide (strengthens skin barrier). It is an anti-aging cream housed in a 70ml glass jar and comes with a small spatula/scoop. It has a light yellow color from the idebenone. The cream is light enough to be used in our AM & PM routine but with the weather changing to something colder, we prefer using heavier creams at night. It has a light creamy texture that sinks into the skin well. No tacky feeling brought by this product. Our skin looks brighter and moisturized after every use.
We did not experience irritations or redness with any of the products from the set and enjoyed using each of the product. This set would be perfect for those with dull skin because these products can help you achieve healthy-looking, brighter, and more radiant skin. ✨
